Fairfield dermatologist Raynae Dyson, who is the author of the book, Beauty with Your Eyes, said she was shocked when she first saw a video of a patient with skin problems that had been treated with a cosmetic technique called a keratinized clay or clay peel.
“That’s the first thing I knew, that this was really a real thing,” she told ABC News.
“I was very surprised, and I didn’t even know this existed.
She was able to see her own skin and it was very natural.
Dr. Dyson said she didn’t think much of the video but after seeing her own face, she began to feel more confident in the science.
The skin, she said, looked smoother, softer and softer.
But it was hard to tell if the skin was better or worse than a person who had not had a procedure like this.
I was just really amazed that this has been done and it’s so effective.
One problem with the clay peel, which is done on patients’ bodies by injecting a liquid, is that it can be messy. “
[It’s] for people who want to know what the heck it is, but I think it’s good enough for most people,” she said.

A patient’s face may be covered with clay flakes, and it can irritate the skin, Dyers told ABCNews.
Another concern is that the skin can be very sensitive to some of the chemicals that are used.
Even after treatment, Dyer said, it takes about four to six weeks for the skin to return to its natural state.
Some people may not need to have the treatment, and many will recover without having to use it, she told CNN.
There are other cosmetic treatments that can help heal the skin.
